MASTER'S IN ZOOLOGY (M.Sc.)

Eligibility: B.Sc. (10+2+3 pattern) with Major/Honours Course in Zoology

Bodoland University offers one of the most promising and talented Master’s program in the North-eastern part of India. Students are admitted to the M.Sc. program on the basis selection procedure of Bodoland University as notified during the time of admission. In addition to the theory courses, Department of Zoology also gives special emphasis on practical training and research oriented programs. The M.Sc. students undertake a 2-semester research project work (starts from 3rd Semester) to orient them towards research in diverse areas of Biological Sciences. Students also participate in seminars and other workshops organised by the department and allied departments of the University which enhance their knowledge in different domains of life sciences and also improve their communication and comprehension skills.

DOCTORATE OF PHILOSHOPHY (Ph.D.)
Department of Zoology, Bodoland University has started its Ph.D. Program since 2015. At present, department has only three recognised guides for Ph.D. course. Admission and selection to Ph.D. program takes place via entrance test conducted by Department of Zoology, Bodoland University once a year at around January or February month of every year or as per the notification announced by Bodoland University.
