Over the years, Department of Zoology has been able to develop the minimum requirements for its P.G. teaching and research programs. Three lecture halls and two laboratories (for M.Sc.) and separate laboratories for Ph.D. Scholars provide an exquisite environment to the students for their studies and research activities. Presently, Department of Zoology is equipped with important instrumental facilities of biological sciences such as Gradient PCR, UV-VIS-Double Beam Spectrophotometer, Gel Documentation Unit, Ice Flaker, Binocular and Trinocular Microscopes, Phase Contrast Microscope, Fluorescence Microscope, Colorimeter, BOD incubator, Hot air oven, Electrophoresis Unit, Transilluminator, 3 & 4 Digit Digital Balance, Water Bath, Hot Plate, Double distillation plant, Clevenger Apparatus, Magnetic Stirrer, Digital pH Meter, Refrigerated Centrifuge, Microwave oven, Micropipettes, Autoclave, Deep Freezer etc. Other necessary and important instruments will be procured very soon.
